Lucy will be painting on the Silk Purse waterfront deck, ready to share her insights & inspirations into her artistic process. Andersen is an accomplished watercolour & ink artist. Today she'll be creating a new masterpiece & happy to discuss the ins & outs of what & how she's creating.

Lucy Andersen is a West Vancouver artist who draws inspiration from her upbringing at the base of Hollyburn Ridge. Her artwork is influenced by local mountains, coastal islands, forests & beachcombing. She combines her love for fantasy, fashion, ceramics, clothing design & printmaking. Currently, Lucy explores these themes by creating paper doll sculptures that fuse humans & animals while incorporating elements from the natural world.

Andersen's work is currently on display in Visage at the Silk Purse.
